Here are some reading tasks to do with your parents or caregivers if our school is closed:

• Read poetry.
• Read nursery rhymes.
  
• Look at the newspaper. How many chunk words can you find?
• Read your favourite stories.
  
• Read packaging - what are the ingredients? Where did the product come from?
• Read advertising - What is the cheapest product?
• Look at a map book - find some landmarks in New Zealand.
