Green Bay School is a Bronze Medal Enviro-school.
We have our vision map with current and planned projects on display in the Information Centre.
These are photos of areas in our school which we are very proud of.

In 2009 we totally revitalised our swimming pool area. We painted a stunning mural as well as painting
the pool and have this year continued the project with vegetable gardens, building a chicken run and
adding 5 chickens. In this area we also have three very productive worm farms which feed our gardens
with plenty of nutrients.

We have five chickens which room 7 takes care of and collects the eggs.

A group of children meet every thursday afternoon to plant, weed and maintain the vege gardens
in the pool area.
They regularly feed their plants with worm tea from the worm farms. Currently they are
growing beetroot, carrots, silverbeet, broadbeans, blueberries and more...

The old junior sandpits are now a butterfly garden and a vegetable garden.
Each junior class takes care of a 'wedge' of the garden.

Information and photos of Room 5's rubbish audit coming soon...
