Perceptual Motor Programme
 
P.M.P will be here in Term 2
We will be learning to crawl like a cat, or a monkey! We will pretend that we are in the circus and walk along a tight rope using a heel to toe movement.
We will learn some great songs that involve lots of actions - This is My Body, Wiggle in My Toe, Knees up Mother Brown.
This is a fabulous programme that relies on parent support.
Thanks to the support of our adult helpers, last year, who ran a rotation of four activities - an adult is needed to work with each group. The children are divided into four groups and do a range of activities using skills already taught.  Language is a very important component, getting them to use words like under, over and through.

Wow! What a great start to the term. Week 5 already.
At the moment we have 14 wonderful children in our class, 4 boys and 10 girls.
